NHCC serves as a satellite office for the Madison County Health Department. Officials are at New Hope Children’s Clinic on Fridays to administer the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program. About WIC

WIC is a federally funded program that provides free food and nutritional education to pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children up to age five, along with free baby formula to infants. Nutritionists and nurses assess each applicant and tailor a food and counseling package to meet that person’s needs.
